Veneris is a music project of its own kind. It took the classic dub aesthetics and finally arrived to its destination – a typical example of how well a global tradition can work. So the release has originals and versions. It is analog and digital - it is crystal clearly high and enormously deep.

This dual compilation features (dub)techno masters from Hungary and one guest from Russia who sent their tracks to Complementary Distribution netlabel which has been around since 2005.

Banyek – the owner and gatekeeper of the community – sent these artists’ tracks back & forth through his analog filters and fx processors to create versions of them. As a result, the digital and bright side of the release is counterpointed with a dim, mist side – the versions are sole
remnants and reformed shadows of the original works: refreshed soundscapes. Play it on proper subs to feel the same!
