Sleeping Cargo

by Banyek

/

about

When I was a child (mid-90's) some cargo vans used to park in the area where I live - some of their cooler systems were rumbling all night long)
In this patch I meant to recreate the sound as it had been heard in my bedroom.

Patch description:
3 sine waves go into A-135-1
1) A-143-9
2) A-143-9
3) A-106-6 (1L out)
(all these are modulated by an LS1 Lightstrip to change the overall pitch if desired)
(Manually adjusting the invdividual pitches result in different beating frequencies.)

Channel 4 is a filtered noise source
4) A-118 > A-106-5 HP out > A-135-1 #4
This input is modulated by an A-147 LFO (sine out) (which is modulated by an A-119 based on the sum of the 3 audio signals)
